I’ve loved jewelry-making since I was a little girl. I loved making friendship bracelets. In high school, I found my way into my first jewelry class — working with metal and making earrings and rings mostly. Soldering, casting, wax molds. That class really showed me what jewelry-making truly is.
I wholeheartedly believe that I was born to be a creator. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset and it’s taken me down many different paths, but this feels different. It’s scary, but in a good way. I’m betting on myself for the first time in a long time, and I like it.
I saw the concept for permanent bracelets a few years ago in New York and it’s been tugging my creative heart, and the heart of the little girl who started out making friendship bracelets, ever since. With the desire for freedom as a mother and the calling to create, I am taking the leap.
I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to create something that people wanted. Something tangible and beautiful and timeless. Something that everyone could experience to feel a sense of beauty, belonging, pride or connection.
